Part-time Legal Assistant

A boutique technology law consultancy focused on tech, AI, data protection and commercial contracts, is looking for a highly organised flexible support person. This role would suit an experienced paralegal, legal assistant, or someone with relevant legal or contract support experience looking for flexible working hours. This is a remote role with an average of 3 hours per day required. In this role, you will be supporting the technology law practice with documentation formatting, contract administration, research and general client support tasks. Responsibilities: · Expert Word formatting, document clean-up, and managing styles/templates · Collating and preparing contract packs and related documents · General contract administration and contract management support for clients · Updating client records and internal trackers · Carrying out legal and commercial research · Assisting with first drafts using legal software and templates · General admin support across client matters Requirements · Matric with a related tertiary qualification · Excellent Word formatting skills, including styles and document consistency · Legal or paralegal experience is a pre-requisite · Drafting experience would be a strong advantage · An interest in contracts, technology businesses, and practical legal support
