Property Sourcing Specialist

Positioned within an expanding property business, this remote part-time role focuses on deal sourcing and market research. Commencing with an initial workload of 5 to 8 hours per week, with potential expansion to 10 to 12 hours per week. Operating from a dedicated home office, the position involves identifying high-potential properties through portal searches and auction reviews. Focus areas include price-reduced, stale, undervalued, non-mortgageable, commercial, land, and development lots. The role requires direct estate agent outreach and initial due diligence to present qualified investment leads for formal executive assessment. Key Responsibilities Portal Search & Lead Identification: Proactively search property portals to identify potential investment opportunities, focusing on price-reduced, extended-listing, undervalued, or non-mortgageable stock. Estate Agent Engagement: Contact and build relationships with UK estate agents via telephone and email to inquire about current or upcoming stock, negotiate potential purchase opportunities, and maintain recurring leads. Auction Catalogue Research: Research property auction catalogues to identify opportunities, including multiple lots with potential for title splitting, commercial buildings, farms, land, and refurbishment projects. Due Diligence & Market Analysis: Conduct initial research into comparable property sales and local market conditions using publicly available information. Pipeline & Database Management: Maintain a structured database recording property details, asking prices, reductions, estimated potential, and identified structural or legal issues. Opportunity Presentation: Collate and present suitable, fully researched property opportunities to leadership for further assessment. Requirements Essential Requirements Demonstrated capability in online research, business development, lead generation, and pipeline management. Confident verbal communication skills with the persistence to make direct telephone calls to estate agents. Excellent written and verbal command of UK English. High level of attention to detail and commercial awareness. Ability to work independently from a remote location in South Africa Desirable Requirements Experience or background in UK property, property sourcing, development, or real estate investment. Experience working within import/export, trading, or property-related companies.
