Fast Food Store Manager

Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Store Manager for a fast food restaurant based in Pretoria North. Purpose of the Role: Responsible for the overall day-to-day management and cost-effective operation of a fast-food store, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, operational efficiency and staff performance. Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily operation of the store, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure food preparation, quality and service meet required operational standards. Manage and develop staff, including training, performance and adherence to procedures. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, food safety and equipment maintenance. Manage stock levels, stock-taking, wastage and deliveries. Oversee daily cash-ups, banking and other basic financial controls. Ensure administrative and staff-related records are accurately maintained. Monitor customer service and resolve complaints appropriately. Ensure company procedures, operational standards and workplace rules are consistently followed. Maintain a professional relationship with customers, suppliers and staff. Requirements Previous fast-food, restaurant or similar high-volume food-service management experience. Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage a team. Strong operational and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures. Good understanding of stock, cash and general store controls. Reliable, flexible and hands-on approach to management.
