Technician

Red Ember recruitment is recruiting for a Technician for our client in Pretoria. Installation of various video and tracking units to company standards. Registration of these units on our platform/systems. Repairs and maintenance of video and telematics systems. Liaising with sales personnel to check fitment/or repair requirements. Complete job cards for all work done on a by vehicle basis. Use eWorks as a tool with accepted on route and completion of onsite job cards. Job cards to be signed by client or contact person and if no one available technician to notify on technical group and add to eWorks. Attaching photos, work summary and documents on eworks Job Cards as per Company Process and Procedure. Liaise with customers where required for repairs and or troublesome installations including alerting management about possible tampering. Liaise with Stock Controller for standard stock and special stock needed for installations and repairs. Do installations and repairs on customer vehicles. Ensure you have a complete tool set as attached list supplied by the client. Work hours include weekends and after hours as per instruction from time to time. (every second weekend will be an on-duty weekend) Attend technical meetings as required from time to time. Perform stores duties as per Stores Procedures as and when required. Perform any additional functions within the job portfolio as required from time to time. Requirements Grade 12 Benefits Medical Aid
