We are currently seeking a Pest Control Job Technician to join our dedicated team at the Coventry branch, covering from Rugby to Hereford area. If you enjoy managing your own schedule and solving unique customer problems in person, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role

Responsibilities Include:

• Visit new and existing commercial and domestic customers, providing bird and rodent-proofing solutions, including bird netting, bird points, and rodent-proofing systems. This may also involve clearing bird fouling and rodent droppings.
• Install pest control hardware, such as external bait stations, and utilize the Flexi Armour system to prevent pest ingress. Support routine inspections and assist local technicians as needed.
• Manage job safety, follow risk assessments and method statements, and ensure safe working practices, especially when working at heights or in confined spaces.
• As a lead technician, oversee job progression from start to finish, including ordering materials and accessing equipment, while managing day-to-day operations independently when required.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, identifying pest problems, and exploring opportunities for new business, even in challenging conditions or weather.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
