We are seeking a Cantonese-speaking Service Advisor to join a fast-paced, international customer support environment based in Penang, Malaysia (Georgetown). This is an expatriate opportunity to support a global technology-driven organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer support across multiple channels, assisting customers with inquiries related to orders, deliveries, payments, and general product support. Key Responsibilities: Provide professional customer support via phone, chat, and other channels Handle inquiries related to order status, delivery timelines, payments, and product information Deliver accurate and timely resolutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction Navigate multiple systems to research and resolve customer issues in real time Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in internal systems Demonstrate strong product knowledge and continuously stay updated Meet quality standards through call audits, performance metrics, and customer feedback Adapt communication style to suit different customer profiles Contribute to a positive team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Education & Language: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline Minimum B2 level English proficiency (spoken and written) Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin (essential) Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in customer service or support Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (especially from Communication, English, or related fields) Experience in a call centre or support environment is advantageous but not mandatory Technical & Core Skills: Basic technical troubleshooting ability (personal or professional) Familiarity with smartphones, tablets, laptops, or operating systems Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Behavioural Competencies: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, resilience, and composure under pressure Strong customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve Strong time management and organisational skills Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Benefits Benefits Competitive salary package Expatriate opportunity in Penang, Malaysia Structured training and onboarding programme Career progression within a global organisation Exposure to an international customer base Supportive and performance-driven work environment Opportunity to develop technical and customer service expertise
