Retro develops therapies for diseases driven by the biology of aging. We focus on cellular reprogramming and autophagy to rejuvenate cell and tissue function with the ultimate aim of adding 10 years to healthy human lifespan.
We are hiring a detail-oriented, people-centric Recruiter. You will be part of the Human Experience (HX) team and will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, from need assessment to offer and onboarding. You will manage several requisitions at a time and will drive the lifecycle of the process; coordinating with hiring managers, creating sourcing and outreach plans, and conducting initial screens. You will report to the lead of the HX team.
You are highly organized and effective at troubleshooting and keeping a process moving. You bring high emotional intelligence to recruiting and also value using data to inform your thinking and improve outcomes. You listen carefully and communicate well with many different types of people. You are resourceful, proactive, and enjoy finding creative ways to source and engage great talent. You approach your work with humility, a team-first attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever help is needed. Above all, you care deeply about being a strong culture carrier and representing Retro thoughtfully and authentically.
- Manage several full-cycle requisitions, both scientific and operational, at once; helping hiring managers with application review, initial screens, candidate sourcing, and advice on overall hiring workflows.
- Build relationships with hiring managers to understand the specific needs of the role and Retro and tailor recruiting strategies to find the best candidates.
- Be a super-user of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Lever; pull reports, manage pipelines, automate process features, etc.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract passive talent and bring the best and brightest to Retro.
- Use data and hiring metrics to identify areas of process improvement and develop new and more efficient hiring solutions.
- Support candidate onboarding workflows.
- Stay up to date with the industry hiring trends and the latest recruiting tools and resources.
- Learn the science; on our team, we take pride in being knowledgeable on what our scientific teams are working on and being able to clearly explain the role to the candidates.
- Other duties as assigned; i.e. we’re a startup and we help where we’re needed. We have a humble, no-task-too-small attitude.
