Rise Association Management Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance and upkeep of 359 North Post Oak Lane Owners Association in Houston, TX.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while helping maintain a clean, safe, and well-maintained community environment. This role will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Candidates with trade certifications or extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work may be considered for higher compensation.
Responsibilities
~1 min readProperty Maintenance & Repairs
Perform general interior and exterior maintenance tasks
Complete basic repairs including painting, drywall patching, and minor carpentry work
Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and general maintenance issues as needed
Conduct routine property walks to identify maintenance or safety concerns
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and exterior spaces
Assist with leaf blowing, debris removal, and general property upkeep
Support preventive maintenance projects and routine community maintenance
Safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
Property Operations Support
Communicate maintenance concerns and project updates to management
Coordinate with vendors and onsite staff as needed
Ensure all work is completed safely and according to community standards
Respond professionally to resident and management requests
Requirements

Previous maintenance, facilities, porter, or property upkeep experience preferred
Experience in condominium, HOA, apartment, hotel, or multifamily properties is a plus
Skills & Abilities
Basic knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and carpentry preferred
Ability to troubleshoot and complete tasks independently
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance required
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day
Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Other Requirements
Reliable transportation required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned schedule consistently
Schedule
Part-Time Schedule to Start:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
OR
Tuesday / Thursday
Opportunity to transition into a Full-Time schedule based on performance and community needs.
Compensation & Benefits
$20.00–$26.00 per hour DOE
Part-Time Position with Full-Time Growth Opportunity
Higher compensation may be considered for licensed or highly experienced candidates
