Inventory Control Supervisor B Shift - W20

• →Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors in items stored.
• →Studies records and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess stock.
• →Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
• →Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
• →Prepares composite reports from individual reports of Inventory Specialists.
• →Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• →Issue written / oral instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
• →Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• →Oversees inbound associates in their daily tasks and job responsibilities.
• →Other tasks as assigned by manager.

• →Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• →Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• →Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
• →Responsible for payroll validations for all respective IC and Inbound associates.
• →Utilize computer terminal to properly account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.

• Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training in warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, Coordinating Cycle Count programs, Product rotation.
• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to physically count articles or products on shelves, racks and pallets.
