IT Support Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize computer systems, applications, and network environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, escalate, and resolve critical and high-impact support tickets.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues.
- Provide timely, high-quality technical support and guidance to end users.
- Document incidents, solutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve team efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to IT support policies, SLAs, and best practices.
- Continuously update technical knowledge to stay aligned with evolving systems and tools.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts (preferably Python).
- Strong proficiency in Linux commands and SQL/NoSQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Linux services and web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache).
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex issues on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Good working knowledge of Ubuntu OS administration.
- Strong analytical, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to automation/scripting for support tasks.
