Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Mine Maintenance team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy mining equipment and vehicles, ensuring maximum equipment availability and performance.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults on heavy mining equipment and performing timely and effective repairs.

• Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

• Troubleshooting complex multi-system issues and identifying root causes to minimize equipment downtime.

• Repairing or replacing defective components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical parts.

• Completing accurate maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation of all work performed.

• Adhering strictly to safety standards and procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
