Job Summary:
The warehouse/Receiving associate will work closely with scheduling, procurement and production, to coordinate the availability of raw materials and components for the production process. They will do this by receiving goods into inventory, staging them and delivering to production on a daily basis. This position requires a team player, a forward-thinking attitude, safety first mind set, and ability to take instruction.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Processes inventory requests for staging and production per schedule
- Organizes stocks, restocks, and maintains inventory locations
- Inspects products for defects and damages
- Examines & unloads incoming deliveries by verifying BOL’s and packing slips
- Organize warehouse space, maintaining it and keeping it clean and orderly
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Transfers products between locations as needed
- Refills & replenishes stock locations for production daily
- Performs all other duties and projects as assigned
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Forklift certification
- MRP experience a plus
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing and growing environment
Education and Experience:
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of moving and transferring product to and from various locations
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
