Real Estate Credit Investments – Director

We’re building our investment team at RRA Capital and are looking for someone ready to step into a true deal seat—working directly with our CIO to evaluate, structure, and execute real estate credit investments, and help shape how we invest.

YOU WILL BE:

• close to the decision-making process, not just supporting it
• thinking like both a lender and an owner
• part of a small, high-performing team where your work directly impacts outcomes

WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO:

• Evaluate new investment opportunities across transitional and bridge lending
• Build and pressure-test underwriting models and deal assumptions
• Structure loans (pricing, leverage, covenants) with a focus on downside protection
• Partner directly with the CIO to assess risk and drive investment decisions
• Work across the full lifecycle—from initial screening through closing

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has 6-12 years of experience in real estate investing, credit, or acquisitions
• Is comfortable underwriting and evaluating deals independently
• Understands both real estate fundamentals and credit risk
• Is ready to take a step up in responsibility, not just make a lateral move
• Is based in Phoenix, AZ — exceptional candidates in other markets are encouraged to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Base salary commensurate with experience, discretionary performance bonus, and participation in firm economics for the right candidate. Benefits include medical insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and unlimited PTO.
