Scope
The Maintenance Scheduler II is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining maintenance schedules that support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of oil and gas facilities. This role supports pad facilities and partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, prioritized, resourced, and executed. The Scheduler monitors backlog health, coordinates workforce and contractor resources, tracks schedule performance, and drives continuous improvement in maintenance work management processes.
The role includes scheduling jobs for multiple crews. The scheduling is not highly complex, but an understanding of oil and gas operations and regular interaction with Maintenance and Operations are important.

Scope

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 1 to 4-week maintenance schedules.
- Create and manage weekly and daily maintenance work schedules.
- Schedule maintenance jobs for multiple crews supporting pad facilities.
- Coordinate labor, contractor, material, and equipment resources.
- Ensure work orders are ready for execution prior to scheduling.
- Monitor maintenance backlog and work order aging.
- Support facility outages, shutdowns, and major maintenance events.
- Track schedule compliance, schedule attainment, and maintenance KPIs.
- Participate in daily and weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
- Communicate schedule changes and execution risks to stakeholders.
- Spend one day per week in the field, interacting with Maintenance and Operations.
- Promote maintenance planning and scheduling best practices.
- Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Williston.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance coordination, or related operations roles.
- Experience in oil and gas, energy, industrial, manufacturing, or related operations.
- Understanding of oil and gas operations and maintenance activities.
- Proficiency with SAP PM, Maximo, Oracle, Emaintenance or similar CMMS systems.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Smartsheet.
- Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting and data analysis.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Working knowledge of maintenance work management processes and scheduling principles.
- Associate's degree in a technical, business, engineering technology, or related field.
- Equivalent experience is acceptable
- Experience supporting production facilities, compressor stations, gathering systems, pipelines, or gas processing plants.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience coordinating facility shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage planning.
- Experience mentoring junior schedulers or leading scheduling meetings.
- Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance and continuous improvement practices.
