Ryther is expanding our work in preventing and decreasing youth involvement in juvenile justice by providing therapeutic support through a court diversion program. As the Program Manager, you'll provide a positive, safe, and supportive milieu environment for youth experiencing crisis, using a trauma/DEI-informed framework. You'll also be responsible for collaborative program development, training, milieu management, and group facilitation.

• →Develop milieu routines that support regulation and skill generalization.
• →Provide training and supervision to behavior specialists, both during on-boarding and in the milieu.
• →Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• →Coordinate with Juvenile Court Services, including screening staff, supervisor, and juvenile probation counselors.
• →Manage supply orders, staff schedules, and paperwork completion.
• →Provide on-call support in collaboration with Lead Behavior Specialist.

• Ability to work the swing shift when needed to cover shifts
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field or bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience working in child mental health.
• Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices.
• Skills in training, group facilitation, and milieu management.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, verbal de-escalation.
• Valid WA state driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to drive agency vehicles
• Acceptance and ability to work with individuals and families with a variety of lifestyles, behaviors, and cultural and spiritual practices with the ability to apply a social justice and equity lens to all aspects of this work.
• Experience working with youth in the juvenile justice system, group care settings, or higher level of care
