As the seasonal data entry assistant, you will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient HR operations during seasonal needs.  

Responsibilities

  • →Date entry for bell ringer processing during Christmas kettle season
  • →Assist in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date human resources electronic and paper files, records, and documentation.
  • →Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • →Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • →Provides clerical support to the HR department.

 

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma required, associate degree with emphasis on business preferred

Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed and all background check results will be reviewed.

Experience: One year of experience in human resources, business, or similar administrative role.

Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm training within the first 30 days of employment.

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Able to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership, field personnel, and clientele
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft word and excel.
  • Ability to learn payroll, HRIS and other computer application systems.

 

  • Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Lifting, pull or push up to 25 lbs.
