TESTER (EXPERT) Location: Menands, NY Agency: New York State Workers’ Compensation Board Contract Duration: 30 Months Compensation: $38–$43 per hour DOE Employment Type: Full-Time Contract Position Overview Sandy Mac Evolution LLC is seeking an experienced Tester (Expert) to support a long-term New York State Workers’ Compensation Board initiative in Menands, NY. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and performance testing strategies for enterprise-level applications and systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in automation testing frameworks, performance testing tools, API testing, SQL validation, and regression testing within large-scale enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites • Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for enterprise applications • Develop and execute performance and load testing plans to validate system scalability and stability • Conduct API and web services testing using industry-standard testing tools • Perform backend database validation and migration testing activities • Identify, document, troubleshoot, and track software defects and performance issues • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure software quality and compliance • Support test planning, test data preparation, and test execution activities • Analyze testing results and provide detailed reporting and recommendations • Participate in Agile and SDLC testing processes throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Required Qualifications Candidates must meet the following minimum experience requirements: • 84 months of experience creating and executing automated test scripts and comprehensive regression test suites • 84 months of experience utilizing automation testing tools such as Selenium and/or Cypress • 84 months of experience performing performance testing utilizing JMeter, LoadRunner, and NeoLoad • 36 months of experience performing web services and API testing utilizing SOAP UI, Postman, and REST Assured • 36 months of experience performing SQL and database migration testing, including backend data validation and integrity testing Desired Skills • Strong understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and testing best practices • Experience supporting enterprise-level applications in large-scale environments • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities • Experience working within Agile and SDLC environments • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple testing efforts and priorities simultaneously Work Authorization This position is open to U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, H1B candidates, and other authorized U.S. workers.
