Who We’re Looking For

At ScalePad, we hire thoughtful builders who want their work to matter. Our roles are designed for people who thrive on driving impact, see ambiguity as an opportunity, and believe that raising the bar is a team sport.

We don’t bring people in to run playbooks. We hire people who want to rewrite them. And in this role, you’ll get to do that, while shaping the future of managed services for our global partners. (That’s what we call our customers.)

What is ScalePad

At ScalePad, we’re building more than software; we’re building confidence and clarity for the people who manage the technology businesses rely on every day.

Our mission: help MSPs evolve into MVPs (their clients’ most valuable partner). Our tools turn them from reactive service providers into strategic advisors through a consistent, scalable Customer Success motion.
Our product suite unifies risk insights, client planning, and service delivery so MSPs can have smarter conversations, show clients their value, and grow their revenue.

But our purpose goes beyond our software. We’re creating a workplace where curious, growth-minded people can do their best work, where ideas are valued, progress is shared, and everyone belongs. Together, we’re creating a future where MSPs don’t just keep businesses running, they help them thrive. We believe that when our partners succeed, we all do.

With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Phoenix and a global-first mindset. ScalePad has grown into a category leader trusted by 12,000+ partners across 60+ countries. We’ve been recognized for our products and corporate culture by MSP Today, G2, and Great Place to Work™, to name a few.

About The Role

As our Events Leader, you'll own and evolve ScalePad's global events program, creating experiences that strengthen our brand, deepen relationships, and drive meaningful business results. From major channel conferences and trade shows to executive dinners, roadshows, webinars, and everything in between, you'll shape how partners, customers, and industry peers experience ScalePad in the real world.

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be equal parts strategist, relationship builder, and operator. You get energy from bringing people together, creating experiences people will never forget, and turning events into measurable business outcomes. You're just as comfortable building a long-term events strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves to solve problems on-site when things don't go according to plan. Most importantly, you understand that every event is an opportunity to strengthen our reputation and help us become the most-loved brand in the MSP space.

You'll lead and develop our Events team while partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and our leadership team to ensure events play a meaningful role in our go-to-market strategy. You'll also become a familiar face in the channel, building relationships with partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders while helping ScalePad deliver exceptional experiences wherever we show up.

If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll own

Get ready to go beyond order-taking. Your strategic responsibilities include:

  • Lead ScalePad’s Global Events Strategy: Own ScalePad’s global events strategy across in-person and virtual formats, including channel events, trade shows, roadshows, executive dinners, webinars, and more.
  • Be a Trusted Voice in the Channel: Serve as a key brand ambassador within the channel, building strong relationships with partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to expand ScalePad’s presence and drive mutual success.
  • Drive Pipeline and Business Growth: Own event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline goals, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to maximize business impact.
  • Build an Events Calendar That Drives Results: Build and manage an events calendar that aligns with company objectives, GTM priorities, marketing campaigns, and budget requirements.
  • Continuously Improve Performance and ROI: Evaluate and evolve our events programs, identifying new opportunities and prioritizing investments that improve partner acquisition, retention, brand awareness, and ROI. Own the events budget and ensure investments are aligned with business priorities.
  • Create Experiences Our Partners Remember: Develop event experiences that generate excitement, strengthen the ScalePad brand, and create meaningful engagement opportunities for partners and customers.
  • Lead Exceptional Event Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of all event activities—from strategy and planning to promotion, logistics, and on-site coordination. This role requires extensive travel.
  • Build and Manage Strategic Relationships: Build and manage a network of trusted partners, vendors, agencies, and contractors that enable ScalePad to deliver exceptional events at scale.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Lead, coach, and develop the Events team, ensuring clear accountability, strong execution, and ongoing professional growth.

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years of experience leading B2B event marketing programs, including experience in a senior leadership role.
  • A people-first leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and developing exceptional talent.
  • Proven success building event programs that strengthen brands and drive measurable business outcomes, including pipeline growth, partner engagement, and customer retention.
  • Experience working in the IT, SaaS, or MSP space is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to align cross-functional teams around shared goals.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI to enhance planning, execution, communication, and reporting, using emerging tools to scale impact while maintaining a high bar for quality and creativity.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to earn trust and influence partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • A genuine passion for creating memorable experiences and helping build one of the most-loved brands in the MSP space.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to inform decisions and improve performance.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
