Kneads Bakeshop is expanding and preparing to open a new location in Logan Circle, Washington, DC. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented General Manager to oversee operations at our fast-paced restaurant and bakery. This role requires a dynamic leader who excels in managing both front-of-house (FOH) operations while ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, expertise in payroll and inventory management, and proficiency with the Toast POS platform.

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant and bakery.

·      Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in the food service industry, preferably in a bakery/restaurant environment.

·      Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

·      Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, staff, and vendors.

·      Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

·      Proficiency in basic computer software and point-of-sale systems.

·      Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

·      Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
