We are hiring a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Analyst to join our team.  You will be responsible for analyzing, auditing, and processing payroll information for employees of the organization. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, and the ability to work with a high level of confidentiality.  You will work within a talented team of payroll analysts, who collaboratively support payroll for a company of 10,000+ employees. This role is primarily remote with occasional need to meet in Hopkins, MN.

What You Will Do:

• Collect, review, and verify timekeeping records and hours worked for accuracy.
• Process payroll related data in a timely manner, includes wages, bonuses, commissions, overtime, and other adjustments.
• Analyze and reconcile payroll data to ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in payroll records.
• Perform audits of payroll activities to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure payroll processing adheres to federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
• Verify system prorations and retro pay calculations.  
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information in the payroll system.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to payroll processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other relevant functions to ensure accurate employee data and seamless information flow.

What You Will Bring:

• 1+ year(s) of experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar payroll processing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Solid understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations.
• Certification such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.

What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $48,000 - $80,000 annually with eligibility for a 5% annual incentive bonus, which is based on organizational performance. The salary range represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
