Disability Support Worker

Orange NSW Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports clients with a forensic background and complex mental health. We are looking for a casual Support Worker who is skilled and resilient, with the ability to effectively empower and inspire individuals to adopt positive habits and routines. Strong communication skills and the ability to set firm boundaries are essential.
- Casual rates starting from $45.28 per hour + penalties.

- Support adults with complex mental health and psychosocial disabilities in an independent living model.
- Rigorously follow BIS and care support plans as directed by clinical teams and site manager to best support complex behaviours.
- Encourage capacity building to enhance clients’ current skills, such as hygiene, safe relationships, domestic duties, using public transport and accessing the community safely.
- Promoting choice and control and show eagerness to participate in clients’ day to day routines, goals, and interests.
- To be efficient in computer skills and report writing!
Requirements
