• →Support at-risk youth to achieve goals in Individual Case Plans and develop independence, including daily living skills such as cooking, housework, and laundry
• →Encourage and support young people’s interests, education, and engagement with the community
• →Build positive relationships, mentor young people, and collaborate with them to achieve meaningful outcomes
• →Manage behavioural escalations and assist with emotional regulation using trauma-informed approaches
• →Facilitate structured programs and workshops to develop practical life skills and personal growth
• →Work closely with the care team to maintain progress notes, report incidents, and administer medication when required

• Minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, Mental Health or other relevant qualification or a willingness to work towards.
• Essential: Experience supporting at-risk youth who have experienced trauma, neglect, homelessness, alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues or behaviours of concern
• Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills with the ability to maintain professional boundaries while building positive relationships
• Experience working with young people from Indigenous or diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to facilitate structured programs, workshops and activities that develop independent living skills
• Current Provide First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates
• Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence
• Desirable: Experience with behavioural management approaches including TCI, positive behaviour support, trauma-informed care or residential care models such as Sanctuary or CARE

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check, WA Working with Children Check and WA DCP395 check.
