The Role
This role is split between two critical areas:
👉 60% Recruiting
👉 40% Employee Growth & Retention
You are not just filling seats.
You are helping build the future of the company.
What You’ll Do
Recruiting (60%)
- Build and execute proactive recruiting plans (Indeed, LinkedIn, community outreach, etc.)
- Source, screen, and coordinate interviews for high-quality candidates
- Partner with leadership to understand role expectations and success profiles
- Create a strong, consistent candidate experience from first touch to offer
- Generate offer letters and onboarding communication
- Coordinate onboarding logistics and new hire setup
- Track recruiting pipelines, onboarding, and follow-through in BambooHR
- Support employee referral tracking and payouts
- Build relationships in the community, schools, and workforce channels
Employee Growth & Retention (40%)
- Help build and maintain career paths across departments
- Track employee progress through onboarding and development plans
- Support 30/60/90-day check-ins and follow-through
- Partner with managers to identify:
- struggling employees
- high-potential team members
- Coordinate training, development, and growth opportunities
- Maintain documentation around employee progress and development
- Identify patterns in turnover, onboarding gaps, and stalled growth
- Support employee experience initiatives that improve retention

Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Comfortable working across departments and personalities
Preferred Experience
- 1+ year recruiting experience
- 1+ year in HR, onboarding, or employee development
- Experience with career mapping or training coordination (a plus)
- Experience with BambooHR or similar systems (a plus)
- Experience in community outreach or networking (a plus)
