PT Flex Healthcare Security Officer - Danbury

• →Patrol assigned areas of the healthcare facility to deter and detect unsafe or suspicious activity.
• →Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify identification and control access as required.
• →Respond to security incidents, alarms, and calls for assistance in a calm and professional manner.
• →Assist clinical and administrative staff with patient, visitor, and staff safety as needed.
• →Document incidents and complete clear, accurate reports in a timely manner.
• →Enforce facility rules and regulations while treating everyone with dignity and respect.
• →Support fire safety and emergency procedures, including evacuations when required.
• →Use and care for any assigned safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) properly.
• →Follow all Securitas and client health and safety policies, including reporting hazards and incidents.

• Prior security experience preferred, especially in healthcare or similar environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state or local security licenses or certifications.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Basic computer skills for incident reporting and email.
