Bike Patrol Security Officer (Part Time)

You will conduct routine bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors and staff. • →Provide customer service to visitors, employees, residents, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at government-related locations.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, sidewalks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual activity.
• →Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following post orders and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• →Monitor access points and public spaces, assist with directions and general inquiries, and document activities, incidents, and observations in required reports.
• →Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, consistent patrols, and timely communication with supervisors and site representatives.

• Preferred: ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
