As a Security Officer Access Control in Lakewood, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor and employee activity, and report security-related concerns. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. • →Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing location.
• →Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor or vendor entry requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• →Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records; issue and collect access credentials as authorized.
• →Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• →Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help identify unauthorized activity or security-related concerns.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
