As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Laurinburg, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional service and clear communication. Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide customer service to facility personnel, visitors, and/or the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- →Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government correctional facility areas, grounds, perimeter, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
- →Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel.
- →Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying authorization, observing activity, and documenting relevant incidents or irregularities.
- →Maintain required reports, logs, and equipment in accordance with site procedures, applicable laws, and Allied Universal requirements.
Requirements
~1 min read- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
