As a Security Officer Driver Secure Checkpoint in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, and communicating professionally with residents, guests, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

  • →Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • →Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • →Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • →Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, gatehouse surroundings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • →Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, access activity, and unusual observations in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a CPO certification.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
