• →Provide customer service to visitors, applicants, and personnel at a government office by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• →Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and assist with visitor flow while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
• →Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned office areas, public spaces, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• →Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
