As a Security Officer Unarmed Mall Center Patrol Driver in Newport Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. • →Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail center.
• →Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking structures, storefront perimeters, and exterior areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• →Monitor access points, loading areas, and restricted locations; document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations through required reports.
• →Help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and de-escalating customer or tenant concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
