As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Credential Validation in Wyandotte, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

• →Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location.
• →Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• →Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, vehicle, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• →Observe and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, equipment concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
