As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Carleton, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using technology to document observations and respond to security-related needs, you will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- →Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- →Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, production spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- →Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
- →Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
~1 min read- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
