Job Position Description:

Responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned facility and customer scope of work and may include: 

  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, mirrors, partitions, and floors.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, counters, railings, and common-area surfaces.
  • Sweep, dust mop, vacuum, damp mop, and machine-clean flooring as required.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas and perform spot cleaning when needed.
  • Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
  • Clean offices, classrooms, conference rooms, waiting areas, breakrooms, hallways, and other assigned spaces.
  • Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, sinks, and other approved surfaces.
  • Maintain entrances, lobbies, glass doors, and other customer-facing areas.
  • Restock restroom supplies, including paper products and soap, when required.
  • Follow enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures in medical and healthcare environments.
  • Follow site-specific procedures for schools, medical facilities, offices, and other customer locations.
  • Properly use cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow product labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and company safety procedures.
  • Complete assigned cleaning duties within the scheduled service time.
  • Report building damage, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, supply shortages, or unusual conditions to management.
  • Secure assigned areas and follow customer-specific procedures regarding keys, alarm systems, access codes, and restricted areas.
  • Complete required inspections, checklists, timekeeping, or service documentation.
  • Maintain company equipment and supplies in a clean and organized condition.
  • Perform other facility-service duties within the customer’s approved scope of work.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

  • Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 25lbs.
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
