Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Perform maintenance and repair on NSW surface support craft and small boats
- →Inspect and service outboard and inboard engines
- →Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM schedules
- →Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems
- →Support launch, recovery, and trailer maintenance operations
- →Document maintenance actions and repairs as required
- →Maintain cleanliness and safety of maintenance areas
- →Support surge, training, and deployment related maintenance needs
Requirements

- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain installation access credentials
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Compliance with safety, hazmat, and conduct requirements
- Compliance with drugfree workforce standards
- Minimum 3 years maintaining small craft or marine vessels
- Experience with outboard and/or inboard engines
- Knowledge of propulsion, steering, fuel, cooling, and electrical systems
- Experience performing preventative and corrective maritime maintenance
- Experience reading and understanding OEM technical manuals
- Ability to work in marine and waterfront environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined vessel spaces
- Work outdoors in waterfront environments
- Exposure to marine weather conditions, fuels, oils, and noise
- Ability to work on docks, ramps, and vessels afloat or ashore
