Psychology Associate

What to Expect

• Under the clinical supervision of a licensed Psychologist, the Psychological Associate delivers professional psychological services to a child and adolescent outpatient clinic population.
• In this role, you will conduct psychological testing, behavioral assessments, and evidence-based individual or group psychotherapy.
• You will design, implement, and monitor behavioral treatment plans while providing targeted training to caregivers to support client progress.
• You will collaborate with external systems—including consultation with parents, schools, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience. 

What we need from you:

•  Master's degree in psychology or related field.
• Must be eligible for an exemption to practice as a Psychology Associate through the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists at time of appointment and continually through tenure in position. A Psychology Associate must receive approval from the Board before commencing practice.  Current certification as a Certified Behavior Analyst is preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in behavioral psychology, including:
  1. extensive knowledge of the theory, principles, and techniques of applied behavior analysis including reinforcement, punishment, and use of single case design
  2. ability to conduct functional assessments including analog functional analyses, preference assessments, stimulus avoidance assessments, direct and indirect observations, data collection, and interviews
  3. ability to develop and implement behavioral interventions with a comprehensive knowledge of the use of reinforcement and punishment
  4. familiarity with collecting, graphing and interpreting data using Excel.
