Are you an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) looking for a rewarding overnight opportunity where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care? We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented pharmacy professional to provide comprehensive medication adherence support while working alongside pharmacists and healthcare providers in a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, problem-solving, and contributing to exceptional healthcare outcomes.


The successful candidate will provide integrated support to patients and pharmacists through a hands-on approach to total quality patient care. Responsibilities include supporting the full continuum of medication adherence services, assisting patients with their therapy journey, and helping ensure the highest standards of pharmacy operations.


Responsibilities

  • β†’Interpret and enter prescriptions accurately.
  • β†’Clarify prescription orders with pharmacists and/or clinicians as appropriate.
  • β†’Label and fill prescriptions for pharmacist verification.
  • β†’Perform pharmaceutical calculations.
  • β†’Identify medications requiring special storage or handling, including refrigerated and hazardous medications.
  • β†’Assemble supplies required for medication administration, including:
    • β†’Sharps containers
    • β†’Needles/syringes
    • β†’Alcohol swabs
    • β†’Bandages
  • β†’Prepare medications for delivery to patients and departments.
  • β†’Answer, resolve, and triage inbound inquiries.
  • β†’Conduct outbound therapy and medication adherence check-ins.
  • β†’Secure refill prescriptions.
  • β†’Resolve insurance-related issues and assist patients with financial assistance programs.
  • β†’Maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering and receiving medications.
  • β†’Communicate directly with patients to support medication awareness and adherence.
  • β†’Input data, adjudicate test claims, and prepare follow-up action plans.
  • β†’Manage, organize, and update information within database applications.
  • β†’Identify trends, solve operational challenges, and recommend process improvements.
  • β†’Participate actively in quality and process improvement initiatives.
  • β†’Partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
  • β†’Protect confidential patient and organizational information.
  • β†’Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and industry involvement.
  • β†’Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

We are seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians who are:

βœ” Registered with the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
βœ” Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT) or equivalent

If additional state-specific certification requirements must be completed or renewed at the time of employment, candidates must obtain the required certification within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining required credentials.

  • Required: 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Preferred: 5+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
