Shift4 is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Associate to join their Finance Operations team in Malta. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial ecosystem by managing daily bookkeeping, payment authorizations, and complex accounting reconciliations.

Responsibilities

→ Assist with bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records;
→Verification and authorization of Daily Payments;
→Handling Treasury back office requests;
→Perform daily accounting reconciliations (bank, receivables and other reconciliations);
→Timely and accurate execution of month-end procedures and reconciliations;
→Assisting the finance team with the preparation of audit documents;
→Promoting adherence to effective control practices across the team;
→Execution of ad hoc activities as required by Senior Management

Have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the financial services industry, ideally within payments;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel in particular;
Be highly organized, pro-active self-starter, able to work on own initiative, and excellent attention to detail;
Be a team player, flexible, and able to meet strict deadlines
Fluent in English.
