The role of continuous improvement (CI) Process Excellence Officer will be to use CI methodologies within SHVE’s business units and its head office to improve E2E processes. The CI Process Excellence Officer is the driver of process improvements within these organizations and its related parties. Some process improvements will come through automation: The additional role of continuous improvement (CI) process excellence officer will be to manage automation of process steps within SHVE’s business units and its head office to improve E2E processes. He/she is the driver of automation within these organizations and its related parties. He/ she works together with other CI team members and with the relevant BU’s and functions to identify opportunities and deliver results from automation initiatives.
The CI process excellence officer is part of the CI team. The goal of the CI team is that every team in SHVE continuously and autonomously improves customer value, employee engagement, and company result, realized by applying CI methodologies, behaviors and leadership.
The CI process excellence officer teams up with the leadership and management of BU’s and HQ teams and is the driving force behind E2E process excellence. The CI process excellence officer uses CI methodologies to identify E2E process improvements, improves processes together with all relevant stakeholders (BU’s, functions, HQ), ensures process improvements are sustained by implementing performance control. The CI process excellence officer will always be the role model for CI culture.
For the right candidate that fulfils all requirements, this position is offered in Hay Grade 18.
Establish and lead global key user communities and/or other groups with a goal to build/develop local competencies.
Use all available opportunities to share progress, best practice and highlight successes within SHVE, whilst also getting others involved along the way.
Through projects, initiatives, and networking, identify and engage with local talent with a goal to improve/build local competencies within SHVE.
Continue to build/develop the CI standards for process improvement, equipping our CI Experts with the tools/knowledge to improve operational efficiencies by delivering sustainable solutions.
Lead, develop and implement a performance driven culture that enables increased efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and capacity from the bottom-up.
Define/validate relevant KPIs
Pro-actively drive best practice in relation to performance management
Establish and share best practices for processes in all Bus.
Work directly with local stakeholders within specific BUs to achieve buy-in and drive sustainable execution.
Identity and drive efficiencies within our BUs using CI methodologies including data analytics by continuously reviewing performance and highlighting areas for potential cost savings.
Use data analytics in A3 problem solving
Pro-actively identify global continuous improvement initiatives using performance management diagnostics.
Identify automation opportunities during problem solving and process improvement initiatives.
A Bachelors or Master’s degree is required
Experience in multi stakeholder Kaizen events
Experience in coaching A3 problem solving and daily management
Experience in defining KPIs/performance management.
A proven track record of identifying and driving improvements.
Experience in using data analytics to identify automation opportunities
Experience in delivering automation initiatives (incl. RPA, AI)
Local SHVE BU experience is considered a plus
Consistently achieve performance targets and standards.
Strong background in change and project management
Master lean certification is considered a plus
Good grasp of IT and systems related to process management. E.g., ERP, CRM, TMS.
Business English both spoken and written is required
A passion for Continuous Improvement, change management and the ability to enthuse colleagues in continuous improvement as a business necessity
Great networking skills
Able to work at every level of the organization, from team members on the shop-floor to executives
A belief in 'walking the talk' and working as a member of a team
Travel, regional and global
