We’re hiring a Hospice Regional Admissions Coordinator – a detail-oriented and compassionate professional who supports the admissions process for hospice and palliative care patients. This role blends administrative precision, empathy, and coordination to ensure a smooth and dignified transition into care.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Manage data entry and maintain accurate admission tracking logs
- →Coordinate hospital discharges and general admission processes
- →Overcome initial objections to hospice and palliative care services
- →Verify insurance and manage authorization processes
- →Schedule staff to meet with patients and families in a timely manner
- →Ensure intake documentation is completed per policy
- →Participate in team meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
- →Communicate empathetically with patients, families, and associates
- →Remain calm and level-headed in emergencies and emotionally intense situations
- →Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- High school diploma required; college coursework in business administration preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or inside sales
- Prior hospice or palliative care experience strongly preferred
- Typing speed of 50 WPM and proficiency in Excel, Word, and basic computer tasks
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance required
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
- May be required to work outside regular hours based on patient needs
