Accounts General Manager

Job Title: Accounts General Manager Location: Coimbatore Salary: ₹10 – ₹12 Lakhs Per Annum Experience Required: CA Qualified: Minimum 10 Years Non-CA: Minimum 15 Years Job Summary The Accounts General Manager will be responsible for leading the entire finance and accounting function of the organization. This role involves strategic financial planning, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial risks, and driving operational efficiency within the accounts department. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities along with deep expertise in financial management and reporting. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and taxation Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and budget forecasts Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other financial laws Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance of the organization Lead internal and external audit processes and ensure timely closure of audit observations Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets Coordinate with senior management for financial planning and decision-making Manage and mentor the accounts team to improve efficiency and productivity Liaise with banks, auditors, and financial institutions for financial matters Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes Essential Qualifications Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and financial regulations Skills Required Strong expertise in financial reporting and analysis In-depth knowledge of taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems, or SAP Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and stakeholder management skills High attention to detail and accuracy
