General Manager – Quantity Surveying

Job Purpose Lead the commercial and cost-management function for the entire infrastructure programme — BOQ, tendering, contract administration, cost control and final account close-out. Key Responsibilities • Oversee BOQ preparation, tendering, contract administration, variation/EOT assessment, payment certification and final account close-out. • Administer FIDIC / NEC / bespoke EPC contracts. • Drive cost forecasting, value engineering and earned-value reporting. • Manage commercial risk and provide leadership to QS team (Senior QS, Jr. QS). • Set commercial governance standards and audit compliance. Requirements Qualifications • B.Sc. / B.E. in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering. • MRICS / AIQS / FRICS strongly preferred. Experience • 15+ years in mining / EPC / heavy infrastructure commercial leadership. • Minimum 5 years at GM / Commercial Manager level. Key Competencies & Skills • Mastery of FIDIC and major-project contract forms. • Cost control, claims management and dispute resolution. • Strong commercial negotiation skills. • Team leadership and mentoring. • Advanced Excel, CostX, Candy or equivalent QS software proficiency.
