Job Title: Cashier Location: Singapore Job Overview: A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail, basic financial handling skills, and a friendly approach to customer interaction. Key Responsibilities: Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers Maintain proper records of transactions and daily sales Ensure the cash counter is balanced at the end of each shift Assist customers with billing queries and provide product information Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area Follow company policies for cash handling and fraud prevention Coordinate with store staff for smooth operations Required Qualifications: Minimum: 10th / 12th / Diploma (any field) Basic knowledge of billing systems or POS machines Prior experience as a cashier or in retail (preferred but not mandatory) Key Skills Required: Good numerical and calculation skills Strong communication and customer service skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle cash responsibly Basic computer knowledge Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
