Construction Engineer

Job Title: Construction Engineer Location: Singapore Job Overview: A Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and safety compliance. The role involves working closely with project managers, site teams, contractors, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and oversee construction activities at the site Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation Manage material procurement and ensure optimal resource utilization Supervise workforce and ensure productivity on-site Identify risks and implement corrective actions proactively Maintain proper communication with stakeholders and management Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field 3 to 8 years of experience in construction/project execution Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Required Skills: Strong project management and coordination skills Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Good communication and team management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
