This isn't a role where reports disappear into a folder. You'll work closely with decision-makers, influence product strategy, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to the continued growth of a company that's rethinking what's possible in insurance.

- Analyze homeowners' insurance product performance, including profitability, retention, loss trends, and new business quality
- Turn data into actionable insights that help guide product, underwriting, pricing, and business decisions
- Extract, validate, and interpret data from large datasets and internal systems to support key business initiatives
- Develop and enhance recurring and ad hoc reporting to monitor performance and identify emerging trends
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to help shape product strategy and innovation
- Support product enhancements, regulatory updates, and implementations by documenting business requirements and recommendations
- Partner with cross-functional teams to answer complex business questions and solve real-world challenges
- Prepare clear, concise presentations that help stakeholders understand opportunities, risks, and recommendations
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement before they become larger business issues
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis
- 2+ years of insurance, underwriting, product, or related industry experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Ability to identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop meaningful business recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data into clear business insights
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Ability to work independently while also partnering effectively across teams
- Experience with homeowners, property, or personal lines insurance products is preferred
- Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, or similar analytics platforms is preferred
- Working knowledge of insurance product design, performance metrics, pricing concepts, and regulatory considerations is a plus
