Starting salary range: $55,000 to $70,000

SmartAcre, a B2B marketing technology agency, is looking for a Demand Generation Engineer to join our growing team. This is not an engineering degree role. Around here, “engineer” means builder. We’re looking for someone who can take a go-to-market goal, translate it into campaigns, workflows, paid media programs, and reporting, then keep improving until the work performs.
This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on growth marketing experience who wants more ownership, more client exposure, and more room to build. You have enough experience to hit the ground running, but you’re still hungry to learn, test, and sharpen your craft.
What You'll Do:
- Build and execute demand generation programs that help B2B clients attract, convert, and nurture the right audiences
- Work confidently in HubSpot Marketing Hub to build lists, workflows, emails, landing pages, forms, campaigns, and performance reporting
- Support go-to-market programs across paid search, email, landing pages, lifecycle nurture, and conversion paths
- Manage and optimize Google Ads Search campaigns, including keyword strategy, ad copy, budget pacing, performance analysis, and recommendations
- Use campaign data to spot what is working, what is underperforming, and what needs to change next
- Connect campaign execution to business outcomes, including lead quality, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and budget efficiency
- Collaborate with account managers, strategist, paid media specialists, RevOps experts, designers, developers, and client teams to move work forward
- Use AI and marketing technology to work smarter, improve output, and create better campaign systems
- Keep campaign details organized, accurate, and moving, because good ideas still need clean execution to work
You Might Be a Fit If:
- You have 2 to 5 years of hands on demand generation, growth marketing, paid media, or marketing operations experience
- You have current working experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub and can build without needing someone to show you where everything lives
- You have experience with HubSpot Sales Hub or understand how marketing activity connects to sales process, lifecycle stages, and pipeline
- You have hands on Google Ads Search experience and understand how to optimize campaigns beyond surface level metrics
- You understand the bigger picture of demand generation and know how paid search, landing pages, form, workflows, emails, and reporting work together to support go-to-market goals
- You are comfortable regularly speaking to clients on a weekly or bi-weekly basis with progress updates or performance reports
- You are comfortable making data informed recommendations and explaining what the numbers mean in plain English
- You like building systems, testing ideas, fixing what is broken, and finding better ways to get results
- You can manage multiple client priorities without letting details fall into the abyss, which is dramatic but accurate
- You have LinkedIn Ads experience, which is a plus, but Google paid platform experience is more critical
- You are curious about AI, marketing technology, automation, and how modern demand teams can move faster without getting sloppy
- You’re curious and proactive about experimentation, are eager to test new platforms and strategies, learn what works, and bring innovative ideas to clients that drive better results.

- Must be authorized to work within the United States and live in CO, PA, TX, MI, or VA
- Must be AI forward and comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter while bringing the judgment, curiosity, and strategic thinking needed to make the work accurate, useful, and client ready
- Must have current working experience in HubSpot Marketing Hub
- Must have current working experience in Google Ads, especially Search campaigns
- LinkedIn Ads experience is a plus
- Content experience is helpful, especially for campaign messaging, email, landing pages, and paid ad copy
