• →Scheduling Surgical operations with excellence and care
• →Provide a high level of service to patients
• →Answer phone calls, take messages, and route calls to the appropriately
• →Assist with medical administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing
• →Obtaining pre-operative clearance and medical records
• →Providing patients with directions before and after surgery.

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred - but willing to train the right individual!
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
• Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
• Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Surgery Scheduler role
• Familiarity with office procedures and phone systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support
• Experience working in a medical office setting, Podiatry experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills.
