Soccer Shots Oahu
$21–$27/hour | Part-Time

Soccer Shots Oahu is looking for energetic, dependable people who genuinely enjoy working with young children.

We introduce soccer to children ages 2–8 at preschools and park programs across Oahu. Our coaches help kids build confidence, learn character skills, and have fun through age-appropriate soccer sessions.

If you love working with kids, bring positive energy, and want a rewarding part-time job, we’d love to meet you.

Why Coach With Soccer Shots?

Starting pay of $21/hour with opportunities to grow to $27/hour

Paid training and ongoing support
Curriculum and equipment provided
Short, structured 30–45 minute sessions
Flexible part-time scheduling
Several current coaches have been with us for more than 9 years

What You'll Do

Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8
Follow the Soccer Shots curriculum
Teach age-appropriate soccer skills and games
Create a safe, encouraging environment
Communicate professionally with parents, schools, and teammates
Arrive prepared and on time
Set up and pack up coaching equipment

Schedule

Most weekday sessions take place at preschools, with weekend sessions at select park locations.

We are currently prioritizing candidates available for multiple sessions throughout the week, especially afternoons. Most afternoon sessions require arrival around 2:45 PM.

Ideal availability includes:

At least 3 weekday mornings and/or afternoons
Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, approximately 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Consistent availability throughout the year

Because children benefit from seeing the same coach each week, we are looking for people interested in a consistent, long-term part-time role.

What We're Looking For

Our best coaches are:

Great with kids
Fun, energetic, and comfortable being silly
Patient and adaptable
Dependable and professional
Able to communicate well with families and schools
Able to travel to sessions with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Employment is subject to applicable childcare and preschool clearance requirements.

Preferred Experience

Previous soccer experience is helpful, but you do not need to be an expert soccer player or coach.

Experience working with children, coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, recreation programs, or after-school programs is a plus.

CPR/First Aid certification is also helpful or may be obtained if needed.

We care more about finding someone who is dependable, coachable, energetic, and great with kids than someone with extensive soccer experience.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21–$27/hour
Location: Oahu, HI
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred

If you want a part-time job where you can stay active, work with kids, and leave each session knowing you made a positive impact, we’d love to hear from you.
