At SoFi, our People Business Partners are trusted advisors who help our employees and leaders thrive. In this role, you’ll lead and implement the people strategy for our Operations team, working directly with SoFi’s Head of Global Operations and their leadership team. You'll also manage a team of People Business Partners who support the organization including member service delivery, fraud prevention, and collections. Your work will empower the business to make smart, data-driven decisions while fostering an inclusive and equitable culture.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead and Develop a High-Performing and Engaged Team: Manage and mentor People Business Partners, ensuring their growth, continuous development, and success.
- →Be a Strategic Partner: Work with Operations leaders to shape and implement people strategies that align with business goals, including performance management, compensation, benefits, and development programs.
- →Implement Impactful People Solutions: Identify root causes, develop creative solutions, and implement strategies that address complex organizational challenges.
- →Coach and Influence: Leverage your strong understanding of the business and talent to coach leaders and influence strong decision-making, fostering long-term organizational growth and resilience
- →Leverage Data: Use insights to guide decisions, uncover trends, and improve organizational health.
- →Champion Culture and Inclusion: Champion SoFi’s values while driving initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the Operations team.
- →Ensure Compliance and Support: Align employee and business needs while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements to foster a fair, compliant, and supportive workplace.
- →Collaborate across the People Team: Partner with People Team COEs and People Business Partners to create and drive people initiatives that impact the business.
- People Management Experience: Demonstrated experience directly managing and developing People Business Partner teams that deliver with excellence.
- Strategic and Hands-On Expertise: Proven ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution, including progressive HR experience in dynamic environments.
- Leadership Support: experience supporting and coaching leaders at all levels, including Vice President and above-level leaders, to drive accountability and alignment.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making: Proficiency in using data to uncover trends, guide decisions, and implement impactful changes.
- HR Knowledge and Expertise: Strong understanding of key HR domains such as compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, and diversity and inclusion.
- Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, adapt to diverse audiences, and influence effectively across all levels of the organization.
