At Soho House, a Senior Chef de Partie supports the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our members and guests. You will be instrumental in preparing, cooking, and presenting exceptional dishes in line with the club’s food philosophy.
Your main responsibility is to demonstrate technical expertise, a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and a proactive attitude towards training, hygiene, and consistency. You will contribute to menu development, ensure compliance with allergy procedures and dietary requirements, and act as a role model to more junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards in quality, consistency, and presentation.
- →Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering efficient and well-organized service during busy periods and events.
- →Ensure full compliance with all food safety, allergy, hygiene, and health standards, including HACCP and company policies.
- →Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks, ensuring all elements are ready and of high quality for service.
- →Assist in the training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie, helping to develop their technical skills and kitchen knowledge.
- →Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu or service changes and specials alongside daily tastings.
- →Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs and variety.
- →Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.
- →Supporting with the deep cleaning of the entire kitchen before close.
- →Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper area at the end of service.
A successful Senior Chef de Partie for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service. You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Passion for food, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude in a busy kitchen environment.
- Culinary qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
