Can perform guest and supplies inventory. Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checklists. Ensure that reservations of the day match the dining set-up per table. Complete mis en place before, during and after operations. Ensure all table set ups are sanitized and complete. Taking guests food and drink orders according to operational standards, ensuring accuracy of item ordered and guests preferences when communicated, and up-selling whenever possible. Memorize menu, daily specials and monthly promotions Delivering orders promptly from the kitchen or bar and observing the proper ordering procedures. Inspecting all items before serving, for appearance and temperature. Assist in clearing tables as necessary. Ensures all hygiene standards and procedures. Requirements Minimum two (2) years' experience in bar, restaurant, and hotel operations. Can administer cashiering functions after completion of the training. Knowledgeable in using relevant systems such as Birchstreet, Agylysis, Opentable, etc. Understands concept of guest service.
